Carnot Game Description
Carnot Game is an engaging game centered around the Carnot Cycle, where participants must alternate among three thermal sources (hot, insulator, and cold) to optimize the energy exerted on the piston of a cylinder. The objective is to maintain the piston functioning within the ideal Carnot cycle, executing the transitions between sources at the appropriate times to prevent the cylinder from either detonating or freezing. The closer the player adheres to the Carnot cycle, the greater their score and advancement.
The player needs to click the button to switch among the thermal sources of the system, keeping in mind to make the transitions at the proper instances to avert the piston from seizing or the cylinder from exploding. The Carnot cycle comprises four thermodynamic processes.
